US-20260124509-A1 - Tee Bolt
Abstract
A golf tee anchor that is adapted to hold and secure a rubber golf tee to a ground surface. Its lightning bolt shape allows it to act as an anchor that is adapted to withstand golf swing forces and avoid having to re-secure a tee over and over again after swinging impacts.

- 5 . A golf tee anchor comprising: a stake portion including: a front surface; a back surface; a plurality of spikes: wherein said plurality of spikes are spaced from one another and extend outwardly from said back surface; and wherein said plurality of spikes are adapted to resist upward forces tending to pull said golf tee anchor out of a ground material; two opposite edge surfaces; wherein said two opposite edge surfaces extend between said front surface and said back surface; and a V-shaped bottom surface; wherein said V-shaped bottom surface extends between said front surface and said back surface, and is adapted to pierce said ground material; and a tee portion including: a top surface; a bottom surface; and a tee aperture; wherein said tee aperture extends through said top and bottom surfaces and thereby said tee portion, and is adapted to allow a golf tee to pass therethrough and be located therein; wherein said tee portion is attached to and extends perpendicularly from a top section of said stake portion; and wherein when in use, a golf tee is placed within said tee aperture of said tee portion, then said golf tee anchor is pushed into said ground material via said V-shaped bottom surface of said stake portion with said golf tee contacting the top surface of said ground material and extending upwardly therefrom, such that a golf ball can be placed upon said golf tee for striking.
- 6 . The golf tee anchor of claim 5 , wherein said two opposite edge surfaces each include a hook-shaped cut-out formed therein adapted to resist upward forces tending to pull said golf tee anchor out of said ground material.
- 7 . The golf tee anchor of claim 5 , wherein said hook-shaped cut-outs are offset from one another thereby forming a zig-zag cross-sectional shape of said stake portion to thereby increase said resistance to said upward forces.
- 8 . The golf tee anchor of claim 5 , wherein said plurality of spikes are each formed having a triangular cross-section to thereby resist upward forces tending to pull said golf tee anchor out of said ground material.
- 9 . The golf tee anchor of claim 5 , wherein said golf tee anchor is formed from a plastic composite material.
- 10 . A combination of a golf tee and a golf tee anchor, said combination comprising: a golf tee comprising: a base portion; wherein said base portion is formed having as a flat disk shape; and a tee extension; wherein said tee extension is formed having a hollow tubular shape; and wherein said tee extension extends perpendicularly upwards from said base portion; and a golf tee anchor comprising: a stake portion including: a front surface; a back surface; a plurality of spikes: wherein said plurality of spikes are spaced from one another and extend outwardly from said back surface; and wherein said plurality of spikes are adapted to resist upward forces tending to pull said golf tee anchor out of a ground material; two opposite edge surfaces; wherein said two opposite edge surfaces extend between said front surface and said back surface; and a V-shaped bottom surface; wherein said V-shaped bottom surface extends between said front surface and said back surface, and is adapted to pierce said ground material; and a tee portion including: a top surface; a bottom surface; and a tee aperture; wherein said tee aperture extends through said top and bottom surfaces and thereby said tee portion, and is adapted to allow said tee extension of said golf tee to pass therethrough and be located therein; wherein said tee portion is attached to and extends perpendicularly from a top section of said stake portion; and wherein when in use, said golf tee extension is placed within said tee aperture of said tee portion, then said golf tee anchor is pushed into said ground material via said V-shaped bottom surface of said stake portion with said golf tee contacting the top surface of said ground material and extending upwardly therefrom, such that a golf ball can be placed upon said golf tee for striking.
- 11 . The combination of claim 10 , wherein said two opposite edge surfaces each include a hook-shaped cut-out formed therein adapted to resist upward forces tending to pull said golf tee anchor out of said ground material.
- 12 . The combination of claim 10 , wherein said hook-shaped cut-outs are offset from one another thereby forming a zig-zag cross-sectional shape of said stake portion to thereby increase said resistance to said upward forces.
- 13 . The combination of claim 10 , wherein said plurality of spikes are each formed having a triangular cross-section to thereby resist upward forces tending to pull said golf tee anchor out of said ground material.
- 14 . The combination of claim 10 , wherein said golf tee anchor is formed from a plastic composite material.
- 15 . The combination of claim 10 , wherein said golf tee is formed from a rubber material.

COPYRIGHT NOTICE A portion of the disclosure of this patent document contains material which is subject to copyright protection. The copyright owner has no objection to the facsimile reproduction by anyone of the patent document or the patent disclosure, as it appears in the Patent and Trademark Office patent file or records, but otherwise reserves all copyright rights whatsoever. 37 CFR 1.71(d). BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention This invention relates generally to golf tees, and more specifically to anchors for golf tees. 2. Description of the Related Art At golfing practice ranges, prior art wooden and plastic tees easily come out of the grass and break repeatedly with the applied forces of a golf driver swing. A rubber tee withstands the forces of a golf driver swing since it is playable and won't break, however it requires a matt to hold it in place. Accordingly, the present invention overcomes the disadvantages associated with the prior art, by providing an anchor to secure a conventional rubber or similar golf tee, swing after swing, withstanding all the forces of a golf driver swing without having to re-secure the tee as often. BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION In view of the foregoing disadvantages inherent in the known types of golf tees and anchors or the like in the prior art, the present invention provides a golf tee anchor that includes a lightning bolt shape that allows it to act as a ground anchor for the tee and is adapted to withstand golf swing forces and avoid having to re-secure the tee over and over again after swinging impacts, with all the advantages of the prior art and none of the disadvantages. There has thus been outlined, rather broadly, the more important features of the invention in order that the detailed description thereof that follows may be better understood and in order that the present contribution to the art may be better appreciated. Numerous objects, features and advantages of the present invention will be readily apparent to those of ordinary skill in the art upon a reading of the following detailed description of presently preferred, but nonetheless illustrative, embodiments of the present invention when taken in conjunction with the accompanying drawings. The invention is capable of other embodiments and of being practiced and carried out in various ways. Also, it is to be understood that the phraseology and terminology employed herein are for the purpose of descriptions and should not be regarded as limiting.
