Description
TECHNICAL FIELD The present invention relates to the field of fitness equipment, particularly boxing or martial arts punching/kicking equipment. BACKGROUND Conventional fitness equipment for boxing, martial arts, mixed martial arts, etc. generally include various punching bags such as heavy punching bags, hanging bags, freestanding bags, speed bags, double end bags, etc. Such equipment may hang from the ceiling or wall, and/or may mount on top of a weighted base. Such equipment may be useful for offensive training (e.g., practicing punching and/or kicking), but does not provide an element of practicing defensive tactics. For example, heavy punching bags (both hanging and freestanding) are effective for absorbing punches and kicks, but do not require any form of dodging or blocking. In another example, speed bags are effective for practicing rapid punches, but also do not allow for practicing defensive maneuvers. Double end bags are similar to speed bags in that are effective for practicing rapid punching, and because they spring back towards the puncher, they do provide limited opportunity to practice defensive tactics such as bobbing, weaving, and blocking. However, double end bags are limited because they are generally suspended at one level (e.g., roughly the same height as the head), which only allow practicing limited defensive tactics. Further, this limitation only allows punching and/or kicking at this same level (e.g., practicing head jabs, punches, elbows, kicks, etc.). Thus, there is a need for boxing or martial arts fitness equipment which allows for effectively practicing both offense and defense and multiple levels. SUMMARY Embodiments disclosed herein describe modular fitness systems and devices. In some embodiments, the modular fitness device and system is portable and easy to disassemble and stow away. The terms used herein to describe the invention, such as portable/modular fitness “system(s),” “device(s),” and “equipment,” may be used interchangeably. In some embodiments, the modular fitness device and system comprises a wall or ceiling mount, one or more heavy duty cords of various length, a floor mount, a series of interconnected components (e.g., one or more punching bags, one or more reflex bars), and one or more coupling devices (e.g., metal ‘S’ hooks, carabiners, chain quick links, or similar). In another embodiment, the coupling devices may be integrated with any one of the other components of the modular fitness system (e.g., punching bag, heavy duty cord, reflex bar, wall/ceiling or floor mounts). In some embodiments, the series of interconnected components may comprise one or more punching bags, one or more reflex bars, and/or one or more coupling devices. For example, a series of interconnected components may comprise a punching bag coupled to a reflex bar coupled to another punching bag, all coupled together using coupling devices. In another example, a series of interconnected components may comprise three punching bags in succession all coupled together using coupling devices. In yet another example, a series of interconnected components may comprise a reflex bar coupled to a punching bag coupled to a reflex bar coupled to another punching bag, all coupled together using coupling devices. In some embodiments, the wall or ceiling mount may be mounted to the wall or ceiling and coupled to (e.g., using metal ‘S’ hooks, carabiners, chain quick links, or similar) one end of a heavy duty cord (e.g., rubber) of various length, strength, and tension. The length should hang from the ceiling or wall to roughly the top of the head of a simulated opponent but may be adjusted to suit the proper workout. In some embodiments, the wall/ceiling mount may not be required if the heavy duty cord can be safely connected to the ceiling via alternative means (e.g., via an anchor attached to a ceiling wooden beam, securely suspended, e.g., from a wall, tree, pole, etc.). For example, the first heavy duty cord may be securely wrapped around a sturdy tree branch, pole, or any such means which allows embodiments of this invention to be securely suspended or hung from a higher point. The cord length, strength, and tension may be adjustable based on the needs of the particular exercise. A higher or tighter cord tension may result in a more springy effect, which is effective for speed punching or kicking. Conversely, a lower or looser cord tension will not spring back as well, resulting in a slower response. This may be more appropriate for beginners or those working on slower reflex punching or kicking. The other end of the heavy duty rubber cord may be coupled to one end of a circular punching bag hanging at roughly head height. The circular punching bag may comprise a variety of materials, including and not limited to leather, synthetic, polyurethane, rubber, plastic, or other. In some embodiments, the “circular” punching bag may not form an exact circular shape, and may take on a different form, such
