The washing machine of claim 1 , wherein the instructions, when executed by the at least one processor individually or collectively, further cause the washing machine to: based on the additional cycle being performed, obtain a control result for the additional cycle, and transmit the control result to the server through the communication module.
  10. 10 . The washing machine of claim 1 , wherein the instructions, when executed by the at least one processor individually or collectively, further cause the washing machine to: receive the command for maintaining remote control for the maintenance of remote control from the server through the communication module before a threshold time point from a time point of completion of the washing cycle.
  11. 11 . A method for controlling a washing machine, the method comprising: based on receiving a command for performing a washing cycle selected in a user terminal from a server, performing the washing cycle; receiving a command for maintaining remote control selected in the user terminal from the server; maintaining the washing machine in a remote controllable state after completing the washing cycle; and based on receiving a command for performing an additional cycle selected in the user terminal from the server while maintaining the washing machine in the remote controllable state, performing the additional cycle, wherein the additional cycle includes a rinsing course.
  12. 12 . The method of claim 11 , further comprising: based on a door of the washing machine not being opened after completing the washing cycle, transmitting information indicating whether the door is opened to the server for providing a notification that laundry is left unattended.
  13. 13 . The method of claim 12 , wherein the notification that the laundry is left unattended is a notification provided by a predetermined time interval.
  14. 14 . The method of claim 12 , wherein the notification that the laundry is left unattended comprises information on time that passed after completing the washing cycle.
  15. 15 . The method of claim 12 , further comprising: maintaining a state wherein the communication module for connecting to the server is activated before the door is opened.
  16. 16 . The method of claim 11 , wherein the command for maintaining remote control includes a signal generated in the user terminal based on selection of an item for setting the maintenance of remote control.
  17. 17 . The method of claim 11 , wherein the additional cycle includes a cycle for preventing smell or wrinkle that may be generated as laundry is left unattended.
  18. 18 . The method of claim 11 , wherein the additional cycle comprises at least one of a washing cycle, a spin drying cycle, a wrinkle prevention function, or a tumbling function.
  19. 19 . The method of claim 11 , further comprising: based on the additional cycle being performed, obtaining a control result for the additional cycle; and transmitting the control result to the server.
  20. 20 . The method of claim 11 , wherein the receiving of the command for maintaining remote control comprises: receiving the command for maintaining remote control for the maintenance of remote control from the server before a threshold time point from a time point of completion of the washing cycle.

Description

CROSS-REFERENCE TO RELATED APPLICATION(S) This application is a continuation application of prior application Ser. No. 17/743,051, filed on May 12, 2022, which is a continuation application, claiming priority under § 365(c), of an International application No. PCT/KR2020/017044, filed on Nov. 27, 2020, which is based on and claims the benefit of a Korean patent application number 10-2019-0157750, filed on Nov. 29, 2019, in the Korean Intellectual Property Office, the disclosure of each of which is incorporated by reference herein in its entirety. BACKGROUND 1. Field The disclosure relates to a user terminal and a control method for same.
