Abstract
Certain configurations of composite articles including a functional film layer are described. The functional film layer can be used to bond a. skin layer to an underlying core layer to prevent delamination of the skin layer from the core layer. The core layer can be a cellulose based material or can be a non-cellulose based material. The composite articles can be used in vehicle load floors and vehicle headliners that can resist delamination over wider temperature ranges and/or more extreme environmental conditions than existing articles.
