Description
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR PICKLING AT LEAST ONE STEEL WIRE AND/OR RIBBON BY CONTINUOUS FOLDING The present invention relates to a device for stripping at least one steel wire and/or ribbon in continuous motion. Pickling baths for wires and/or ribbons moving through galvanizing devices have been known for a long time, allowing an impeccable finished product to be obtained. The pickling stage primarily removes impurities from the surface of the wires and/or tapes to be galvanized, such as oxides, rust, or other metallic residues accumulated during previous manufacturing stages. This pickling is carried out using an acidic pickling solution, which reacts chemically with these impurities to dissolve and effectively remove them from the surface of the wires and/or tapes. Impurities can accumulate on the surface of metal wires or ribbons due to the thermal, mechanical, or chemical processes they have undergone. Without effective pickling, these contaminants, such as oxides or rust, can compromise the adhesion of the coating applied during galvanizing. Poor adhesion can lead to premature corrosion, uneven coverage, or even coating detachment. This pickling step is therefore essential to guarantee the quality, durability, and corrosion resistance of the finished product. There are pickling devices for metal strips where the pickling bath is mostly divided into two parts by the strip being treated. The main challenge with these devices is to ensure homogeneous pickling of the entire surface of the strip on both sides. There are also pickling devices for moving wires and/or metal ribbons, where the wires and/or ribbons pass through the pickling bath at a certain speed, carrying with them a film of acidic liquor that creates a boundary layer of liquor around the wires and/or ribbons, preventing them from coming into contact with the reactive acid. The major challenge with these wire and/or ribbon pickling devices is ensuring the breaching of this boundary layer to allow the reactive acid to contact the metallic elements and guarantee their effective pickling. The present invention relates to the technology for stripping wires and/or ribbons in scrolling motion. The present invention relates more particularly to a device for stripping at least one continuously moving steel wire and/or ribbon, comprising: Means of training in the scrolling of at least one wire and/or ribbon in one scrolling direction, At least one pickling bath filled with pickling liquor comprising a bath inlet of said at least one wire and/or ribbon into said bath and a bath outlet of said at least one wire and/or ribbon from said bath, between which is a pickling zone. Such a device for stripping at least one continuously moving steel wire and/or tape is well known in the prior art, as described in BEI document 015255. This document describes a stripping device comprising a stripping solution bath through which the wires and/or tapes move. The moving wires and/or tapes pass through this bath by way of turbulent currents flowing in a direction transverse to the direction of movement, and which are generated by means for forming turbulent currents. These turbulent currents enable the rupture of the boundary layer surrounding the moving wires and/or tapes. Unfortunately, although the device described in document BEI 015255 presents certain solutions for the pickling of wires and/or tapes in continuous scrolling, these solutions are not sufficient for current galvanizing devices where the speed of the scrolling wires and/or tapes is constantly increasing and where the scrolling speed of juxtaposed wires and/or tapes is not necessarily the same. Indeed, increasing the speed of the moving wires and/or ribbons makes it more difficult to ensure effective breaching of the boundary layer surrounding them, as the contact time between the wires/ribbons and the turbulent currents is reduced. This can lead to decreased pickling efficiency and, consequently, a decrease in the quality of subsequent treatment during galvanizing. Furthermore, when the moving wires and/or ribbons have different speeds, it is essential to ensure consistent treatment quality for each. The invention aims to address these technological challenges and at least partially overcome the aforementioned drawbacks by providing a device for stripping at least one continuously moving steel wire and/or ribbon. which is both simple and effective for stripping wires and/or ribbons moving at high and/or different speeds. To solve this problem, the invention provides a device for stripping at least one continuously moving steel wire and/or ribbon, as described at the beginning, comprising a series of means for projecting stripping solution into said bath. This device includes a stripping solution inlet in fluidic communication with a stripping solution source and in fluidic communication with a substantially horizontal distribution conduit immersed in the stripping solution. Said distribution conduit has a
