WO-2026094684-A1 - SURVEYING LEVELING ROD AND SYSTEM
Abstract
The present invention realizes automation of survey work by enabling the size of a figure drawn on an actual surveying leveling rod targeted for image capture to be identified from an image captured of the surveying leveling rod. Drawn on a surveying leveling rod 11 according to the present invention are a figure indicating three or more points, the positions of which are in a known relationship, and size information indicating the size of the figure. The figure drawn on the surveying leveling rod 11 is a polygon colored in different colors, and indicates intersection points of boundary lines between two adjacent regions colored in different colors. The positional relationship between the intersections is known. Since the size information pertaining to the figure drawn on the surveying leveling rod 11 appears in the image captured of the surveying leveling rod 11, the size of the figure drawn on the actual surveying leveling rod 11 that appears in the image can be identified from the image.

Claims (4)
- A figure showing three or more points whose relative positions are known, A measuring rod with size information indicating the size of the aforementioned figure and a drawing on it.
- A figure showing three or more points whose relative positions are known, A surveying rod on which a figure identification information is drawn, which distinguishes the aforementioned figure from other different figures.
- For each of several shapes of at least different sizes, size information indicating the size of the shape is stored in association with shape identification information that distinguishes the shape from other shapes. An image of the surveying rod described in claim 2 is obtained, Read the shape recognition information from the acquired image. A system that retrieves size information corresponding to shape identification information read from an image, from a collection of multiple stored size records.
- Regarding a surveying rod on which a surveying figure, which is a figure indicating three or more points whose positional relationship is known, is drawn, and which has a rod identification information drawn on it that distinguishes itself from other surveying rods, For each of the multiple surveying rods, size information indicating the size of the surveying figure drawn on the surveying rod is stored in association with the rod identification information that identifies the surveying rod from other surveying rods. We obtained an image of the surveying rod, Read the rod identification information from the acquired image. A system that retrieves size information corresponding to the measuring rod identification information read from an image, from a collection of multiple stored size records.
Description
Surveying rods and systems This invention relates to photogrammetry technology. There is a photogrammetry technique that involves placing a pair of surveying rods (hereinafter referred to as "a pair of surveying rods") side by side on the surface of the object being measured, and then measuring the positional relationship of different points on the surface of the object based on an image captured by a camera so that the pair of surveying rods is within the field of view. For example, Patent Document 1 describes such a technique.
