Welcome to GoVeda! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of GoVeda's website located at www.goveda.com, our AI patent search engine, report generator, and related tools, applications, and services (collectively, the "Services").
Please read these Terms carefully. By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy (collectively, the "Agreement"). If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.
1. Who We Are
The Services are operated by GoVeda Pte. Ltd., a company incorporated in Singapore with its registered address at RIVERBANK @ FERNVALE 17 FERNVALE CLOSE #19-029, Singapore 797478 ("GoVeda," "we," "us," or "our").

2. Eligibility and Accounts
To use certain features of the Services, you may need to create an account. You must:
- Be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction);
- Provide accurate and complete information during registration; and
- Keep your login credentials secure.
You are responsible for all activities under your account. If you suspect unauthorized use, please notify us immediately.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms or for activity that may harm the integrity or security of the Services.
3. Description of Services
GoVeda provides AI-powered tools to help users:
- Search for prior art and related patent documents;
- Generate patentability, freedom-to-operate, and prior-art reports; and
- Access analytics, summaries, or insights based on public and licensed patent data.
Important: The Services and outputs we generate are for informational purposes only. We do not provide legal, financial, or professional advice. You are responsible for verifying the accuracy, suitability, and applicability of any results before relying on them for legal or business decisions.
4. Use of Services
You may use the Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
- Use the Services in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations;
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise extract source code from our models or systems;
- Upload or input content that infringes on any third party's rights, including intellectual property rights;
- Use automated means (such as bots or scrapers) to access the Services without our written consent; or
- Interfere with or disrupt the security or performance of the Services.
We reserve the right to suspend access to anyone who violates these Terms or uses the Services in a way that could harm GoVeda or others.
5. AI-Generated Content
Our platform may generate or suggest outputs using artificial intelligence or machine learning models.
While we strive for high accuracy, AI-generated outputs may contain inaccuracies, omissions, or outdated information. You acknowledge that:
- The results are generated based on algorithms and data sources, not human legal expertise;
- You are solely responsible for reviewing and validating any AI-generated output before relying on it; and
- GoVeda makes no warranties regarding the correctness, completeness, or legal sufficiency of such outputs.
5.1 No AI Model Training or Commercial Use
We explicitly do not use your data inputs, uploads, or outputs to train AI models, develop unrelated products, or engage in any commercial activity beyond the direct provision of our Services to you.
5.2 Generative AI Use and Privacy Commitment
Our Services may use generative AI technology to assist in processing, analyzing, and generating reports. While doing so, we will use our utmost efforts to safeguard your privacy and ensure your data remains anonymous and secure. We recognize that certain disclosures and analyses may contain sensitive or non-public information, and we will treat all such information with the highest level of confidentiality.
6. Payments and Refunds
Certain Services may require payment of fees. Payments are processed securely via Stripe or other authorized payment providers.
All prices and billing terms are listed at the time of purchase and may be updated periodically.
We understand that AI tools can produce varying results. If you are unsatisfied due to technical issues or incorrect outputs, please contact contact@goveda.com within 7 days of your transaction. We review refund requests on a case-by-case basis and may issue refunds at our reasonable discretion.
7. License and Intellectual Property
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Services solely for your internal business or personal purposes in accordance with these Terms.
You retain ownership of the content you upload to the Services ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, process, and analyze such content solely to operate, improve, and deliver our Services.
GoVeda and its licensors own all rights, title, and interest in the Services, including all related intellectual property. Except for the limited license above, no rights are granted to you.
8. Third-Party Services
Our Services may integrate with third-party data providers, APIs, or platforms. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of these third-party services.
Your use of third-party products is subject to their own terms and policies, not ours.
9. Privacy
9.1 Data Ownership
You retain full ownership and control over any data, documents, or materials you upload, submit, or generate through our Services ("User Data").
9.2 Confidentiality
We treat all User Data as strictly confidential. We do not use, sell, share, or otherwise disclose your data for any commercial purposes unrelated to providing the Services.
Your privacy is important to us. Please also refer to our Privacy Policy for information about how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.
10. Service Availability and Modifications
We strive to maintain reliable uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may:
- Modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Services without notice;
- Introduce new features or limits; or
- Restrict access for maintenance or security reasons.
We are not liable for any loss or damage resulting from downtime or changes to the Services.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to:
- Warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement;
- Any warranties arising out of course of dealing or usage of trade; and
- Any representations regarding the accuracy or reliability of AI outputs.
Your use of the Services is at your own risk.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- GoVeda shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits or data, arising out of or related to your use of the Services; and
- Our total liability for any claim under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Services in the 3 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in such cases, these limitations apply to the fullest extent permitted.
13. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless GoVeda, its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from your:
- Use or misuse of the Services;
- Violation of these Terms; or
- Infringement of any third-party rights.
14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Singapore, administered by the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC) in accordance with its rules then in force. The arbitration shall be conducted in English by a single arbitrator.
You and GoVeda agree that arbitration shall be the exclusive remedy for any disputes, except for claims for injunctive relief or enforcement of intellectual property rights.
15. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms or engaged in unlawful activity.
You may stop using the Services at any time. Termination does not relieve you of any outstanding payment obligations.
Sections such as AI-Generated Content, Intellectual Property, Limitation of Liability, and Dispute Resolution will survive termination.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will take effect when posted on our website. We encourage you to review the Terms periodically.
If you continue using the Services after changes are posted, you agree to the revised Terms.
